What is Neotame ?

 

Neotame is an artificial sweetener with the formula C20H30N2O5. Neotame is the sweetest synthetic sweetener in the world, which is 7000 ~ 13000 times sweeter than ordinary sucrose. It is also the sweetener with the closest taste to sucrose. Because Neotame has no hygroscopic properties and is low in energy, it is ideal as a food sweetener.
