Threonine is an amino acid that cannot be synthesized by animals, but it is very needed. It is the second or third limiting amino acid of livestock and poultry. L-threonine is a feed additive produced by deep liquid fermentation and refining with corn starch and other raw materials using bioengineering principle. L-threonine can adjust the balance of amino acids in feed, promote growth, improve meat quality, increase weight gain and lean meat percentage, and reduce feed to meat ratio. L-threonine is helpful to save protein resources, reduce the cost of feed raw materials, reduce the nitrogen content in livestock manure and urine, ammonia concentration and release rate in livestock and poultry houses.
