Isopropyl palmitate (IPP) is colorless to light yellow oily liquid, non-volatile, flammable, with a slightly oily taste. Can dissolve in ethanol, ether and other organic solvents, can not dissolve in water and glycerol. The permeability is slightly lower than IPM.

It is not oxidized in the air at normal temperature, is not easy to hydrolysis, and has good stability.

Isopropyl palmitate (IPP) is widely used in cosmetics and has excellent moisturizing and moisturizing effect on the skin. Skin absorption of this product is very good, can effectively contact with hair follicles in the cortex, penetrate into the depth of the cortex, and bring the active components of cosmetics into full play of the role of active ingredients.

Used in cosmetic solvent and skin moisturizer, penetrant. It has good permeability to the skin and can be used as a good solvent for the pigment in mascara. It is often used in skin cream, hair oil, eyeshadow, lipstick, mascara and other formulations.
